Terms of Service.

Short version: pay for your own license, don't share keys publicly, don't resell, don't reverse-engineer. Everything else is cool.

Effective: April 2026

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Fluents, you accept these terms. If you disagree, don't use the software and request a refund within 14 days of purchase per the Refund Policy.

2. License grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Fluents for personal or professional use. Specifically:

• You may install and activate on up to 2 devices you control
• You may use Fluents on any number of meetings, calls, or interviews
• You may generate unlimited CV documents
• Lifetime licenses grant access for the lifetime of the product (see section 9)

3. What you can't do

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute your license key
• Share your key publicly (in forums, GitHub, torrents, etc.)
• Circumvent the 2-device limit through automation or spoofing
• Reverse-engineer or decompile the application to extract proprietary code or secrets
• Use Fluents for illegal activities under applicable law
• Create derivative commercial products from Fluents without written permission

Violations may result in immediate revocation of your license without refund.

4. Your responsibilities

• API keys: you provide your own OpenRouter / OpenAI / Anthropic key. You're responsible for paying those providers directly and honoring their terms.
• Meeting consent: you are responsible for complying with local recording and AI-assistance laws in your jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions (e.g. two-party consent states in the US) require all call participants to consent. Check your local laws.
• Ethical use: Fluents is a meeting copilot, not a deception tool. Using it to misrepresent your abilities (e.g. fraudulent job interviews) is your own call and liability.

5. Intellectual property

Fluents (the software, UI, branding, trademarks) remains the property of AraraHQ Tecnologia da Informação Ltda. Your license gives you the right to use, not to own.

Content you create with Fluents (meeting transcripts, generated CVs, action items) belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your content.

6. Warranty disclaimer

Fluents is provided "as is". We don't warrant that:

• It will work perfectly in every meeting scenario
• It will get you the job
• It will never crash
• The screen-share invisibility will work in every possible video conferencing app (we test Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack Huddles — others may behave unpredictably)

We do our best. You're a grown-up. Calibrate expectations accordingly.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Fluents ($79–149). We're not liable for:

• Missed job opportunities
• Embarrassing moments if Fluents suggests an awkward answer
• LLM provider costs you incur via your own API key
• Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages

8. Refunds

See the Refund Policy. TL;DR: 14 days, no questions asked.

9. "Lifetime" means

Lifetime licenses grant access for as long as we continue operating Fluents as a commercial product. If we shut down or discontinue the product, we'll provide at least 90 days' notice and, where feasible, open-source the core runtime so you can continue using it.

"Lifetime" does not mean "forever and ever under all circumstances." If the sun explodes, all bets are off.

10. Termination

We may revoke your license without refund if you:

• Violate section 3 (what you can't do)
• Issue a payment chargeback outside the refund window
• Publicly share your key after we've asked you not to

You may terminate at any time by uninstalling. If within 14 days of purchase, you're eligible for a refund.

11. Changes to these terms

We can change these terms. Material changes will be emailed to active users with 30 days' notice. Continued use after changes = acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, SP, Brazil. If you are an EU or UK consumer, you retain your mandatory statutory rights regardless of this clause.
